I think we lacked intensity at the beginning of the game. Once we picked up our intensity, things started to turn around for us.
I think I've shown people that I can play in this league. But now, I have to show them that I can win and take a team deep in the playoffs.
We just beat the best teams in the league. If we get the opportunity to face someone in a series, it should be fun to watch.
People just want to make excuses, which really is fine with me. I'm always the underdog.
I wish we had a couple of weeks or maybe even three weeks left, because we'd be in the running to make a serious run in the playoffs. We're a heck of a team. We were down and out of it with 15 games to play and we kept playing. That says a lot about the guys on this team.
It feels like I'm starting to get my rhythm now. If we had lost, the nine assists and all the points I scored would have gone out the window, but because we won, I had an exciting game.
We came out with a lot of intensity, and we had to because they knew we played last night. We knew they were going to come out and throw a big first punch. We survived that and threw some of our own.
We know that we have a couple of more years together to work at building something special here. I know being here with Dwight means a lot to me. And I really think we're going to have a lot of fun together.
We beat the best team in basketball, but we're not thinking about signature wins right now. We'll worry about that when we get to the playoffs. We've just got to keep this going.
I feel like I'm starting to get my rhythm now.
I am happy that we fought. But when you fight, that doesn't mean you are going to win the game. I feel like I'm starting to get my rhythm now.
Every game, the team gets better. Everybody's getting better, individually and collectively.
Every game counts from here on out. And whether we get to the playoffs or not, (the goal is) just to get better.
It was unbelievable. It's scary because he's only going to get better.
