The thing I think about when I think about Bart is perseverance. With Bart, hard work has never been a problem. This is a testament to him and his parents ... there were a lot of tough times. This is a nice reward for him and his family.

We had several guys step up and show us that they'll be able to give us some big innings. They did an outstanding job. We need our pitchers to keep us in the game. We hit some balls well over the weekend, but we've got a long to go offensively. We'll work on that all through the off-week.
