It's complicated - love. It's so unique every time, with every person. And when the real thing comes along, I guess we just have to hope we see it.
anyone came confident freshmen good positions step taking together work
They work really well together because they're good friends and they're very confident players. Even as freshmen they came in confident, so to step in was very easy. They're just going to get better. I can't see anyone taking their positions away.
kevin shield tried
I did just enough. I'm not a lineman, I just tried to shield him and let Kevin do what he wanted to do.
climbing seeing start team
I think you're going to start seeing a new team. You're going to start seeing a team that's climbing back up again.
balls head ripping
I started ripping (balls at) her. I told her I was going to rip her head off if she let any balls go by her.
calls gets good places
She's pretty good when she gets the calls and places her pitches.
continue knew surprises

guys hopefully huge next somehow
Just somehow to be able to get a win, that's huge with all those guys out. We need to just keep it going and hopefully get another one next week, and when they get back we'll be rolling.
guys huge somehow
Just somehow to be able to get a win, that's huge with all those guys out.
focus improving paid spots week
The focus all week has been on improving our Nos. 4-7 spots and it paid off.
awesome helps strike
They don't strike out much. They have awesome hand-eye coordination and that really helps them out a lot.
attitude bit bounce despite field hang heads kept point score
Things got a little bit out of hand, things didn't bounce our way, but they kept going. Not at one point while they were out on the field did they hang their heads too low. They still had that attitude that they could do it despite what the score was.
dropped excuse feeling lead morale seven start sure
You get up and you get a lead and you start feeling comfortable, you have to keep going. Our morale dropped down a little. There's really no excuse for it, but we really need to make sure we come out and play all seven innings.
adversity bit glad learn stronger team together
Through adversity, you learn a lot more and you become a stronger team and you jell together a lot more. So I'm kind of glad we had a little bit of that adversity to try and get over.
