agents benefit core free intact missing ours piece position puts team teams
I really like the position of our team, ... We're a young team that has a young core that's still intact and now we're one of those teams that's going to benefit from having free agents become available. If a team like ours is missing one piece, now we're able to go out and find that piece that puts us over the top.
top
He's right at the top of his class, there's no question. He's going to be a star.
gave
I think it's great. You can just see he's competing. I thought he gave us a boost. We scored pretty shortly after that.
confidence ended everybody fed few
He ended up with a few big points. He really got us going, got the confidence up and then everybody fed off it.
coming habit loss winning
It is pre-season, but we're coming off a loss and we want to get into the winning habit at home.
played
Kipper, he's played like that all year. He's been amazing.
buzz good guys hear missed nice ninth time touch year
This is my ninth year here and I think I missed one of these tournaments for the World Cup. You come back and see the guys -- it's great. You keep in touch by e-mail but it's kind of a nice buzz to hear the anticipation. It's a good time of the year.
seen
He was great. He made some very big saves. I have seen him play before and he is a big player.
boost obviously top
He's a top D-man in the league. He obviously was a pretty big boost out there for them.
nice picked season start
It's a nice compliment. It's nice to have different expectations at the start of the season than being picked just out of the playoffs,
advantage legs regular tired
In playoffs, I think home-ice advantage is not as big as it is in the regular season. I think everybody's prepared. There are no tired legs or anything like that.
low nice shot sure
It was sure nice to see it go in, being my first in five. I just shot low post.
easily fighting reason saves timing top
It's not just the saves he makes, it's the timing of them too. He is easily the No. 1 reason why we're fighting for the top of the division.
low maybe nice shot sure thinking top
It was sure nice to see it go in, being my first in five. I just shot low post. Going in with that one, I didn't make up my mind, thinking maybe top glove, wasn't sure. Maybe I should have something in my head.
