I think that realistically we can shoot for the title this year. If we stay healthy and be persistent throughout the season, I think we have good chance to go all the way.
There are many really good teams in our conference this season. Miami, Indiana and Detroit will be our fiercest opponents this year. But we just have to focus on our game and be patient with the realistic hope that we'll be on top after all is said and done.
I'm a big fan of the game. Seeing these young guys play at the level that they are, I just wish I was 22, 23 years old so I can handle the game the way they do.
Michael, if you can't pass, you can't play. - Coach Dean Smith to Michael Jordan in his freshman year We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.
I don't care what sport you're talking about. What you see with great franchises is structure - a structure that doesn't just take you from year to year, but day to day.
I think both teams are pretty evenly matched in the sense of them being able to slow down the game, and for us, we want to speed it up and get into the open court. It's just a battle of whose will and whose makeup will be for 48 minutes.
It doesn't matter if it's Game 1, Game 2, Game 3 or a Game 7, they're all important. We'll have to try to eliminate our mistakes and get ready for Game 4.
Winning can get boring. Hopefully we learned that tonight, giving up 37 points in that fourth quarter.
That defensive switch and Jacque's two shots won the game for us.
When you get older, you begin to appreciate (triple-doubles) more. When you can get a triple-double, that opportunity doesn't come every night. I probably stayed in longer than I should've, but I wanted to stay on the floor and try for it.
Unless we were the Ninja Mutant Ninja Turtles, there was no mutiny.
We have a long ways to go. We didn't play any defense. Again, it's no gray area with us. If we don't play any defense, we're not going to win. Chalk this one under no defense.
He gets out of bed with 20 points. I tease him all the time about how he shows up at the arena and already has 20 points. He's that good.
He can stretch a defense. He's a big threat. They missed him in Game 2.
