Ramsey has a 6-8 kid and two quick guards. They played us tough and they've got some kids who take up a lot of space in the middle.

Obviously, you want to beat a cross-town team. But (what's more important) is that we're still in the hunt for the conference championship. If we'd of gotten beat tonight, there would have been no way we could have won our conference.
difference early pressure transition washington
We jumped on Washington with pressure and our pressure was the difference early. We got a lot of transition buckets early and that put it away early.

We played tough and we were strong. We did such a better job in the first half than the second half.

We out-sized them. We wanted to establish our presence inside early. We went away from that too much, but we got it early in the second half.

We picked up the intensity a little bit after halftime. We came out and were lackadaisical and very sloppy, I guess, early on.

We did a good job while we were scrambling a little bit on the press of getting back and covering their shooters, and keeping them out of a rhythm because they can go off on you at any time.

We've got to have contributions all over to be successful. We've got one or two guys who can light up the scoreboard. But for us to be successful, we've got to have a total team effort.

When he gets the rebound, it's going the other way quick. Nobody stepped in front so he got all the way down to the goal.
