game heard hurt late outside played somebody
I told somebody that they played their A-plus game and we played our B-plus game. We heard before the game that they really didn't have any outside shooters, but they really hurt us with three-pointers in the late part of the game.
excited opportunity team
The team is very excited for the opportunity to avenge the loss.
figure girls half harder job loose motivate played second seen special
In the second half we got to every loose ball. Our girls played harder than I've ever seen them play. My job is to figure how to motivate them to play like that from the start. If we can do that, we can be a special team.
box eight falling great happy name passes playing points rebounds shot showing though
I was happy for Eileen because she had eight points and she had been playing very well recently, but her shot hadn't been falling and though she had been playing well, her name hadn't been showing up in the box scores. She was making great rebounds and making great passes off the rebounds.
beat bring chase execute four game hold keeps left patriot proves schedule states three win
Logistically, it keeps us in the chase to make states and win the Patriot Division. Emotionally and for our confidence, this proves we can play with everyone and beat anyone. There's no one left on our schedule that's better than Trenton. Even three or four years from now, we can bring this game up and hold it up as something you can do if you execute properly.
handled team totally
They handled us pretty well. But we're a totally different team now.
build continue enjoyable finish goal help otherwise positive seniors tangible win
Our tangible goal is to win 10 games. Otherwise we just want to finish strong. For the seniors we want this to continue to be an enjoyable experience. For the underclassmen we want to end on a positive not to help us build for the future.
christmas coaches effort eve heads kids mode morning nobody players playing practiced remember sure
We have made a concerted effort to make sure the kids remember to have fun. We practiced Christmas Eve morning between 9 and 11 a.m. and we had some of the coaches and ex players playing a little. We want to get them back into the mode of having fun. Nobody has their heads down.
