I think what Cody does is take a lot pressure off our other guards and lets them fill their roles. Kendall gets to be a shooting guard and run the floor in transition ... that's some of the reason we've improved.

We had two freshmen, two sophomores and a junior on the floor at times tonight. At no point until the end did we have a senior on the floor. But our inexperience is still showing. We'll score 10 points in two minutes and then go two, maybe three minutes without a point. But we certainly like the direction we're heading in.

We had two great senior role models. Aaron was a real leader on the floor and in practice. And a kid like Brock, he could have complained about playing behind the younger kids, but he never did. Everyone can learn from the examples they set.

We were just finding a groove here at the end. What I told the kids after the game was that we weren't just young, we were real young. But now these kids have a lot of game experience under their belts.
