We're still looking to get clutch hits and we've had some at times. So far we've been able to answer when teams get runs.

(Charlie) is a little more poised and confident this year. Not that he's cocky, but he knows that if he throws his fastball for strikes, he'll be successful.

He had a few nerves. He ended up with runners on second and third with no outs and got out of it in the sixth.

He probably threw more pitches than we would have liked. We would have put somebody else in, but he had a no hitter going, so we let him have it.
break hurt last year
A break here or a break there can hurt you. Last year we got some of those.
ball best faced pitchers
We faced two of the best pitchers we've faced all year. We just didn't put the ball in play.
bats good swung win
We swung the bats well tonight. And that is important. Its good to get that first win as well.
