basketball comforting fan freshman fun grew people school state support though won year
Now that we won our first state title, we'll always be remembered. Our fan support, we kind of grew it at the school. Now down the hallways people say 'Hi' even though I don't know them. It's more comforting to know there's a little more school spirit. My freshman year when we were horrible, I wouldn't want to go to the basketball games, either. It's more fun now.

I think this might even mean more than the state title we lost because I will be remembered more by this. Another title would have been great, but I'm glad I got one of the two.
nice pressure relax stay step teammates
They put some pressure on me, but I had to relax and stay calm. When I am struggling, I will look at my dad, and that helps. I won't make every shot, so it's nice that I have teammates that step up.

We'd go to games, and there were fans wearing T-shirts that said 'transfer' on them, and they'd start in with all kinds of chants. I thought it was kind of funny. It was rough at first getting all of the transfers on the same page, but we just stayed focused and took care of business.
