I've always wanted to run a black car, ... They just look cool, especially under the lights for a night race. I like to operate in stealth mode, and maybe they won't see me coming in the black Dodge Charger. Hopefully I can drive right by them to the front of the field.

If everything would have played out right, we would have had a top-five finish or maybe even a win the way it was looking toward the end of the race, ... It easily could have been a great day for us, but we're going to take 16th and not look back.

I've been doing this a long time, longer probably than I get credit for. I've been here a long time now, and I've seen a lot of things happen. ... I've been beat up, tied down, shot up, spit out and everything else.

You see it every week. Guys are staying out (on cautions) and leading laps and stuff, trying to get all the points you can if you're in the Chase or not. I've noticed it every week, and it will all add up at the end.

You kind of let things happen and you hope for the best. But it's not going to work out like we are right now. If we keep doing what we've been doing, it ain't going to work. So we've got to do something different. What that is, I don't know.
