Health wise, everything looked good for him. He was ambitious with the bat and running the bases. He got to make some plays at first base. Everything seems to be on course.
baseball hit move player runner smart whatever
He's a smart baseball player and I can do whatever I want with him on offense. If I want him to hit and run, if I want him to bunt, if I need him to move a runner over, I can tell him to do it. And he's very professional about it.
ahead anyone average guy hits power
He's that double-threat guy who hits for average and power. I don't see anyone being ahead of him offensively at this time.
building last opportunity progress starting
He's starting to look pretty good. His progress is visible. He's building on that opportunity he had last year.

We've got some pretty good hitters and somebody keeps doing something good. Weaver throws a bunch of strikes, our guys are definitely swinging and somebody's going to win that battle.

There are some pretty good-looking players here. It should be fun. It should be a very interesting year.
