You want to come into a tournament and get there, and prepare and feel prepared. For me, I got in two of the events on Wednesday. It's challenging.

I thought we had a full team effort today, everybody played except for two of our goalkeepers. San Jose was very organized and kept numbers back. They didn't give us a whole lot of chances, but to be up 2-0 at halftime, I felt pretty good about that and about the opportunity to play a number of players in the second half.

I congratulate Lauren on everything she's accomplished this year. She's really worked hard, her aggression and determination have really helped us on the team. I'm always happy to see good kids who work hard get recognized on a national level. I think it really speaks well to her ability to step up for us.

He got interested, was on the ball and took part in every opportunity to go on a field trip. He's been so very helpful to our group, involved in ongoing activities and monthly programs, setting up slides projectors or lugging around materials. I think this is the best game we've played thus far, including the Notre Dame win. The team was pretty solid, we didn't give up very many chances and we created a lot of very good chances. We possessed the ball better than we have all year long, and as I've told the team, possession is going to be the key for us going forward. Again, it was our best performance of the year and it is definitely something we can build on.
