Once you lose in a tournament like this, it is tough to come back and make the podium. Ben did not get down on himself and did something that is tough to do; become an All-American.

I threw some different wrestlers in there to see how they would compete. I wasn't pleased with our performance. As a team, we need to pick it up.

They are favored in a few more weight classes then we are. If our kids just show up and wrestle, then that is a meet that we can realistically win.

They fought hard. We just have to continue to improve and get ready for the Big Tens and nationals.

As coaches, we were really proud of them. They had to defeat some tough competition and they really did a great job.

It's hard to win when you get pinned in three matches. I felt like we finished strong. We just fell short in a few of our matches.

It was a tough match. We just fell short in a couple of matches. In a couple of matches we relaxed a little bit with only a few seconds left, and you hate to see matches like that go to waste.

Overall it was a team effort. There were some situations in there that had to happen for us to win and they did. We also did not give up any bonus points, which helped.
beat cal guys prepared rather shape team whereas
(Boise State) will try and beat you on shape rather than on skills. Whereas Cal Poly is a slicker team that is more talented. You are going to see guys that are more athletic, so you have to be prepared for it.

You have to keep your head up and keep wrestling. We are improving.
good michigan ranked team
We were just out-matched in some matches. Michigan is a good team and that's why they are ranked fourth.
