Of course this game is urgent, but I thought we were urgent and in the moment against Ohio State. People assume the team that advanced to the national championship game returned, and that team did not return. We're a young team, and we're learning how to be urgent. It definitely should have been an overtime game. I had one timeout and didn't call it. Those kids should have all been in front of us. But that last pass was astounding.

LSU did a great job. We took care of their zone pretty easily, but then they played a lot of man and did a good job with it. I'm not pleased with our team's toughness. We really need to be strong on the court. It was a good lesson for us, but not at all the kind of basketball we play.

I don't think people (Purdue) will be unbeaten. I just think there are too many good teams and too many teams doing good things. I can't say when that will occur or I can't say how that will occur but I just think that the league is too good. ... It's a stronger conference this year, especially in the middle portion of it.
