It was just one of those days where we hit the ball very well. A lot of our hits were solid and quality at-bats. Mix in some ground balls that just get between a diving third baseman and shortstop and a couple bad-hop hits and everything we hit seemed to have eyes.

Offensively, it was big-hit night. We had some clutch hitting, which was nice to see. It was a good win for us.

We talked about that after the game. We probably didn't need to keep (Palmieri) close (to second). I don't think he was going to try and steal third.

We're just having a tough time coming up with a key base hit. We have to figure out a way to score some runs in the important parts of the game. I think we're going to be a good ball team, we just need to get some hits.
