When you think of Canada, you think of hockey and you think of Wayne Gretzky.
We know how tough the division's going to be. These are all four-point games, especially this time of year. I didn't realize what our record was in the Northwest, but as long as we keep winning and climbing that's the most important thing.
We know how back home much this is going to hurt. We feel the same way here.
Any time you play them it's a great hockey game. There's a great history there and it's exciting.
It's just great to get the win. It was a battle out there. After the first period, we thought we had everything under control.
He was in a checking role in L.A.. I've always known he has skill, but it's really coming together for him this year. It's nice to see. He's a great guy and it's good to see him put the puck in the net.
I think we're going to be a very competitive, very exciting team.
It always helps to get off to a good start.
The time of year I love the weather the most here is the fall, and I've never really gotten to experience the mountains and Denver in the fall because I was always playing and traveling.
It's obviously nice. You don't have to move your family, ... We're comfortable here. It's nice to be a part of it for the whole tenure.
I always said to myself that the minute I thought I'd slipped, and not be the player I wanted to be, it was time for me to go.
The winning goal was bad luck, ... I knew Adam was there, but I didn't know he was changing. It was just bad judgment, I guess.
I remember one year in the Adams, Boston had 109 points,Quebec 104, Montreal 102 and Buffalo was pretty close. The Northwest could be like that this year. If you're a fan, you're going to love watching our division.
I know there's been a little bit of backlash from certain people, but you've just got to give him a chance, ... He obviously said something that after the fact he regrets saying, but he's not the one who did anything wrong. It was one person (Bertuzzi), and he paid a price for it (with an NHL suspension).
