The regular season is over and we're all happy to be in this position and getting ready for the playoffs. This is when everybody wants to play. This is the fun time of the year, and we're excited about it.
There's no carry-over ... What happened in the regular season doesn't matter. They've had a tremendous year, they've got an excellent hockey team and it's going to be tough. But we believe in ourselves.
I think we're going to be a very competitive, very exciting team.
I think the Vancouver thing, you guys (in the media) are blowing out of proportion,
Penalty kills are huge. It comes down to special teams every game, and those guys have been great all year.
We expect all of the acquisitions that we made to help our club, ... I expect us to be right up there with everybody else competing for the Stanley Cup.
We ended up sitting back a bit and they started to come. But there were a lot of good things and a lot of things guys did better.
We've had injuries before and we're going to have them again. As long as you deal with it well, you'll go a long way.
Pierre's done a good job filling holes. We're going to have a talented team, an exciting team. We're looking forward to the challenge.
It always helps to get off to a good start.
We were up 3-0 and we thought we had it, ... We have to keep on working. We had our power play chances and we could not get anything out of it.
I think everybody learned what it really takes.
The power play was terrible. We didn't support one another that well. ... I don't think we generated hardly any chances on the power play.
We've just got to keep building. We've got a good group of guys and we like our team, but everything is going to depend on the (ending).
