Down the stretch we won a lot of games late and that was key. Xavier had more confidence this year in his teammates' ability. Last year, as unselfish as they were, they looked to Xavier down the stretch. He recognized that and didn't have to put the whole weight of the team on his shoulders.

I was pleasantly surprised. We were only able to have two practices, only one of them with everybody there. Still, these kids have been together so long, they know this stuff and they know what to do.
