When I consider how my light is spent / Ere half my days in this dark world and wide, / And that one talent which is death to hide, / Lodged with me useless.
arabian bird knows lay nor second self woods
Like that self-begotten bird / In the Arabian woods embost, / That no second knows nor third, / And lay ere while a holocaust.
adding fuel gone knows thy words
He's gone and who knows how he may report/ Thy words by adding fuel to the flame?
golden leaders-and-leadership
A crown, golden in show is but a wreath of thorns.
enduring incapable miserable
It is not miserable to be blind; it is miserable to be incapable of enduring blindness.

But O as to embrace me she inclined, / I waked, she fled, and day brought back my night.

Embryos and idiots, eremites and friars / White, black, and grey, with all their trumpery.

Blest pair of Sirens, pledges of Heav'n's joy,/ Sphere-born harmonious sisters, voice and verse.
golden iron keys last metals pilot
Last came, and last did go, / The Pilot of the Galilean lake, / Two massy keys he bore, of metals twain, / (The golden opes, the iron shuts amain).
ambition choice heaven hell reign serve though worth
Here we may reign secure, and in my choice To reign is worth ambition though in hell: Better to reign in hell than serve in heaven
deadly found restless rush sooner
Restless thoughts, like a deadly swarm of hornets arm'd, no sooner found alone, but rush upon me thronging.
