Johnny David Damonis an American professional baseball outfielder who began playing in Major League Baseballin 1995. He last played in 2012, though he has not officially retired. In his MLB career, Damon has played for the Kansas City Royals, Oakland Athletics, Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, Detroit Tigers, Tampa Bay Raysand Cleveland Indians. Regardless of the reaction, I felt like a lot of fans wanted to see it. I heard more cheers than jeers.

It was pretty much a fastball down the middle. I felt bad. I was looking for a pitch a little lower. I was looking for something down and he actually got it belt high. I was pretty surprised I missed it, but it wasn't the best of swings. Fortunately, now, I missed it, because if I had put it into play, who knows what would've happened.

I felt like I had to salute the fans because they were always great to me here and I know now they're just booing the uniform. They appreciated everything I did and how I played the game. I'm just disappointed we didn't come out swinging the bats better.

Their fans were incredible. It probably felt like a home game for their guys. The feeling inside the stadium was awesome.

I felt I had to (salute the fans), especially to those who were cheering. Unfortunately, I didn't swing the bat well, so I guess I helped the Red Sox.

I was starting to feel the groove again, and then I had this minor setback, ... But I'm not going to feel dissuaded by my performance. As long as the team wins, that's OK. Unfortunately, they seem to coincide.

Baltimore plays us tough all the time, but we caught them towards the end of the season. There's been a lot going on here. That was a positive for us.

Hopefully, we can get it done pretty quickly, ... I'm going to leave it on the Red Sox. They're on their timetable. They always have been.

He's always given me trouble. Mike has so many arm angles and he knows how to spot his pitches. He can set you up with that change-up and then throw a fastball right by you.

I'm glad Bernie Williams is back here. He's one of my favorites. He's going to get some playing time out there.
