Johnny David Damonis an American professional baseball outfielder who began playing in Major League Baseballin 1995. He last played in 2012, though he has not officially retired. In his MLB career, Damon has played for the Kansas City Royals, Oakland Athletics, Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, Detroit Tigers, Tampa Bay Raysand Cleveland Indians. I know we'll have this game in the back of our minds for the rest of our lives. It might just be as close to the World Series as you might ever get without actually getting there. We wanted to, we tried to erase a curse. It seems that curse will be around for another year.

Bernie won the World Series four times here. If he's not there, it's not the same team. The way Bernie approaches the game, he's a laid-back guy, but he plays hard. I've never seen him dog it on the field. I have tremendous respect for him.

Every day, every night, every pitch -- everything is the most important situation that could come up. It kind of feels like the World Series a little bit. It's going to be amazing.

I was starting to feel the groove again, and then I had this minor setback, ... But I'm not going to feel dissuaded by my performance. As long as the team wins, that's OK. Unfortunately, they seem to coincide.

Baltimore plays us tough all the time, but we caught them towards the end of the season. There's been a lot going on here. That was a positive for us.

He's always given me trouble. Mike has so many arm angles and he knows how to spot his pitches. He can set you up with that change-up and then throw a fastball right by you.
