Johnny David Damonis an American professional baseball outfielder who began playing in Major League Baseballin 1995. He last played in 2012, though he has not officially retired. In his MLB career, Damon has played for the Kansas City Royals, Oakland Athletics, Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, Detroit Tigers, Tampa Bay Raysand Cleveland Indians. I was starting to feel the groove again, and then I had this minor setback, ... But I'm not going to feel dissuaded by my performance. As long as the team wins, that's OK. Unfortunately, they seem to coincide.

There was no pain whatsoever. I loosened up and threw the ball fine. I'm going to go at it the way I have to. If I have to make the throw I'll do it. I'm not too concerned about it. My arm feels good.

It's just an exhibition game in spring training. I think by now everybody understands what happened. I'm not going to go crazy over one game in March when we play them 19 times during the year.

I just know I've been waiting for this ever since I signed. To win like that, with the Captain hitting a homer. It's something I'll take with me forever.
fooling game guys hurt playing whether
So many times, you see guys getting hurt whether they're just fooling around or not playing very hard. For me, I have to keep up with the routine, play like every game may be my last.
