The men's club supports us with their Old Guard. They sponsor us with money to run our program, and they also now have a scholarship program. So it's just a way to keep the interest up.

They grow up playing softball, basketball, field whatever-it-is. The thing about rugby that's so great is these kids come out, and in one season, they learn to play the game. And not only that, they've learned how to play and to win the championship.

There are a huge amount of girls out there who want to play a contact sport, who play powder puff football and stuff like that. If you look on my teams, I've had little girls. I had a girl that was 4-foot-11 and she could tackle as well as anybody.
