afternoon australian bike bit couple expected fell found front gone good guess hurt luckily mainly next positive prepare problems pushed quite races results session slow trying turn work
The first day has been pretty good for us. We made some adjustments to prepare our bike and results have come. The problems I had during the Australian races are mainly gone and I am positive about the work we will be able to do in the next couple of days. I fell during the afternoon session because I expected the front tyre I was trying to be a lot better, but I guess I pushed a bit too much and found myself on the ground. Not a big problem as that was a quite slow turn and luckily I didn't hurt myself, which is the main thing.
bike bit catch confident crash friday mess next race second terrible though took walk weekend
A terrible weekend in the office, but at least in the second race we had the bike a lot better. We made a bit of a mess on Friday so we had to catch up all weekend. Even though it was a crash from someone else that took me out of race two, I can walk away confident for the next few. The bike is a lot better now so we can do it for sure.
drop fast fastest form lap means regular second start worse
It could have been worse because my fast lap in regular qualifying was second fastest of all and that means I only drop down to start form the second row.
message
There was a message that said something like 'Ryan couldn't wait'. I'm like, 'What does that mean?', then it clicked.
beginning bike change entered good james race run similar struggled time wrong
It was no good really. I struggled from beginning to end. Something is wrong with the bike and we daren't change to the second, as we hadn't run that other one yet. So to say I am disappointed is an understatement. Every time I entered a corner, right or left, it was chattering, and I was so sideways. It has to be the bike, because James and I have such a similar race set-up, it's just not funny.
