definitely difficult picked task
It was definitely a difficult task for the coaches. We didn't know who would be picked for the team.
bronze easy older proud
It's a bronze medal, and they're not too easy to come by at the Olympics. I think we'll be pretty proud of it... when I'm older and I can show my kids. I have the whole set now.
couple olympic scares softball worry
I think it scares a couple of us. We were around when softball was made an Olympic sport, and we were so happy. It's just something you've always got to worry about.
basketball beat goal great matter mind minds practice seniors week worked year
Our goal all year was to get back. Our seniors set it in their mind that we were going back no matter what we had to do. We executed what we worked on all week in practice and we beat a great basketball team. We made up our minds what we were going to do and we did it.
honored nominated state won
I won the state championship and I got nominated and that was enough for me. I always want to win, but I was just honored to be here.
controlled game held kept obviously period puck putting start third type until zone
I think it was the type of first game we wanted to have. We controlled the puck the way we wanted to. Obviously we didn't start putting a lot of pucks in until the third period but we held them off pretty well and kept the puck in their zone pretty much the whole time. I don't think we were ever really worried.

It's uncomfortable. I don't mind supervision, but that was too far.
doubt focusing move players time
There's no doubt it's a different time for us, but we're just focusing on the players who are still here. Everything changes. It's never going to be like it was before, but you have to move on and try to win.
absolutely closer fans fun game games seeing
It's absolutely important that for this sport to grow, we need closer games. A 16-0 game is not fun for the fans. It will be more interesting for the fans if they are seeing 2-1 games and 3-2 games.

They battled hard. We got a few too many penalties, but we battled through, and I'm proud.

We needed to go home with a medal. It makes you realize how hard it is, because we have a great team ... a great team.

We had a lot of good opportunities on the power plays. We didn't put them home, and that's what hurts. We were maybe too pretty on plays and lost it a few times, and they capitalized.

We?re a little subdued, but we?re happy. We go home with some hardware.
