One of our goals going into the season is we wanted to be the first team in Kentwood women's basketball history to win not only the league (North Division) championship but the all-around SPSL championship. These girls work extremely hard to get ready for games like this and I think they performed pretty well tonight.

I think we're going to leave the state tournament today with a better idea of what it takes to win state. You have to play all 32 minutes.

One of our goals was to be league champs. We talked about playing our best basketball at the end of the season and they are playing their best basketball. Our depth has won us a lot of games.

We've been blessed with some shooters. Overall, this was our best game (of the season). Our freshmen came up big. They don't care what the situation is. They stay cool and composed.

We've learned we can compete with anyone in the state. Now we just have to regroup and come out strong. Our state tournament is still not done.
