Kenneth Howard Norton, Sr., best known as Ken Norton, was an American professional boxer. He was the WBC world heavyweight champion from November 1977 to June 1978. Norton is best known for his classic trilogy with Muhammad Ali, in which he won their first fight by twelve round split decision, and controversially lost the latter two fights.
