impressed perfect stuff
It was a perfect game. Not too bad. Offensively, I was more impressed with her than I was with her pitching. She competed for us and she did well especially with all the stuff that was going on.
concerned flat licking maybe wounds
I was concerned to a point. I thought maybe we were going to be a little flat again, maybe still licking our wounds a little.
brag came fired kids normally ready
Normally I don?t brag on my kids too much, but they were ready to play this weekend. They came out fired up to play. I was impressed.
beating quality twice
Beating Benton twice in one year, that?s pretty good. They?re a real quality team.
decided feels game great happens team
I think she pitched a great game. One team feels great, the other doesn't. That's what happens in a game decided by one pitch.
few finally good ourselves practice state time week work
If we play good this week we'll feel pretty good about ourselves going into the state tournament. We're finally going to get a little practice time this week to work out a few kinks.
change timing
It was a timing change with the first pitcher.
despite led pleased proud
Offensively I was more pleased with her than her pitching. She led off and went 2 for 3. She competed, despite all this (bad weather) that's going on. I'm proud of her. She's a competitor.
arkansas expect game good great hope
I hope we?re ready. I expect it to be a good game and a great game for Arkansas softball.
ball hit home runs six tend
We tend to think we can hit the ball a bit. We hit six home runs in our first 10 games.
focus good high ready thursday
We look like we're ready to get back out and play. Thursday we had a real good practice, had a high focus level.
girls players telling time
What a time to get it. We keep telling the girls that big players make big plays.
lull main ourselves prove ready state
We don't need a lull (this week). We need to prove to ourselves that we can play and that we're ready for the state tournament. That's our main objective.
finally four girls happy proud
We finally got a shutout. That's all right. We'll take the four but I'm really happy with the zero. I'm really proud of the girls and their effort.
