I don't back down. Like, I don't know how to flop. That's never been a part of my game. For me to know if a guy likes to turn left shoulder or right shoulder in the post, I have an advantage. Or if he likes to go left all the time, I have an advantage. Or if he can't make open jump shots, I have an advantage.
I'm mad, but I don't want to rush it. If I didn't have the confidence that the other guys could do it, I would play.
I'm sick of being hurt. Whatever I have do in order to play, I'm going to do, (whether it's) wearing back braces or whatever the case may be.
I take the responsibility of representing the Denver Nuggets very seriously and I truly hope Nuggets fans understand that. I support the team fully and can't wait to rejoin them on the court as soon as possible.
Just trying to get back in the groove and get my conditioning back. Keep working on my game like I have been. Work on my shot, so when I'm open, I can knock that shot down.
Take my jersey down. If he's not affiliated with the university, I don't want to be.
I want to start (in the playoffs). That's how I look at it.
It's not my choice where we play the game. I don't make the schedule. I just show up and play.
First and foremost, I want to apologize to my teammates and coaching staff for my actions on Monday night. There is nothing more important to me than being a good teammate and giving 110% effort each and every day. Nothing will ever change that.
If they want to lose games, that's on them. If they want to play us, it doesn't matter. You've still got to play the games. . . . We're not going to get in a war of words.
I feel good. So just keep getting my rest and keep taking care of my body and I should be all right. It felt good, no pain, no pain right now so we'll see how I feel in the morning.
We got ourselves in that position by not playing defense.
We'll see. I'm getting better. I just don't want to push anything.
People don't know. People are ignorant. They feel that if you stutter, then you're slow or whatnot.
