score short target
We set our target to score about 400 in the first innings. We're about 240 short after the first day.
The only way to get a three to four-month break would be to tear a tendon or a hamstring or something like that.
nice pitch preferred typical
The pitch was typical first day wicket, but little two-paced on one end and skidding on at the other end. I would have preferred a nice unbeaten 60 at the end of the day.
consistency convinced needs performance
We're not convinced with the way we've played, our one-day performance needs consistency.
hardly laugh proper speak
It was only stares and swearwords really, nothing serious. I just laugh about it because they can hardly speak proper English.
