Krist Anthony Novoselicis an American rock musician, and was the bass guitarist and member of the grunge band Nirvana. After Nirvana disbanded following the death of Kurt Cobain in 1994, Novoselic formed Sweet 75 and Eyes Adrift, releasing one album with each band. From 2006 to 2009 he played in the punk band Flipper, and in 2011 contributed bass and accordion to the song "I Should Have Known", on Foo Fighters' studio album Wasting Light...

The only way you do anything is to become really active. And the most effective way to get your message to your elected representatives is to make campaign contributions and develop relationships with them.
Our idea is simply to play the songs and to emphasize our musicianship.
This band is a real collaboration, and I'm greatful to anybody who can appreciate our music. It doesn't have to be a certain kind of fan or person or anything. I think there's a little bit of something for everybody on this record.
When I perform, I like to immerse myself in the music, and I just try to get off on the diversity of music.
No band is special, no player royalty.

I can't remember the last time I looked at a Nirvana web site.
But remember, guitar players are a dime a dozen.
But whenever history is in the making, there's some kind of intangible feeling.
Theodore Roethke was a poet I was raised with so he has a lot of sentimental value for me.
When Nirvana hit it big, it was overwhelming because we were part of the counterculture. Nirvana didn't go to the mainstream - the mainstream came to Nirvana.
But this is pretty new for me, both songwriting and singing.
We have to move beyond the grainy black-and-white approach of blaming lyrics. We need to move forward and apply full-spectrum, high-definition solutions to the challenges facing our nation.
We asserted ourselves as a music community, and showed legislators that music is positive. Especially if you've sold 300 million records worldwide and pay taxes.
