deal expected high played result score second team
We had a disappointing finish, and I think we expected a better result from this weekend. The team played well at times, but we also had to deal with a high score in the second round.
best career round score second shooting shot team third
Jessica's round was her career best and was also the best we have had this season. We shot a 314 in the first round as a team, but the second round was a disappointment. Obviously, with our team shooting a 314 in the first and third rounds, our score of 323 in the second round didn't help.
funk half nice road start third
It has been a long road trip. We had a nice start in the first half but we got in a funk in the third quarter.
adjustment college days definitely run
I think we can make up the difference. It's definitely going to be an adjustment for me but it makes me think of my college days when it was run and gun.
team
(James) did what he had to do to get his team back in the game.
course four good low michigan past proven scores shoot tough week
Michigan is a tough course and we're really working at getting four good scores for each round. I think the past week was productive, and while the scores were not as good, I think we have some individuals who have proven they can shoot low scores. If we can do that, we will be competitive with everyone this weekend.
took
We clamped down on him. We took him out of his game.
feet plant stay steady wait
It doesn't take long when you've got Steve. You just plant your feet and stay steady and wait for the ball.
call either gone hate lose tonight tough
We just hate to lose tonight on a tough call that could have gone either way.
ball course hurt improve key lost management played relying short shots state stepped success team
We have been relying on team effort, not so much as one individual. Everyone stepped up at Ball State and they all played pretty even, as indicated by their scores. We need to improve our short game, though. That was what hurt us the most at Ball State, and we lost some shots around the green. Our course management will be the key to our success this weekend.
booked lost time year
We have lost a lot of business. Usually, this time of year we are a completely booked through December.
ahead ball boards floor gets great guy night outside putting quickness rack stay step
He gets it down out there every night. He's a big guy who really has a great outside touch, real quickness for putting the ball on the floor and getting to the rack and the way he is on the boards offensively and defensively. I've just got to try to stay a step ahead of him.
arise enables focused goal major mind obstacles setting specific step striving
I feel that the most important step in any major accomplishment is setting a specific goal. This enables you to keep your mind focused on your goal and off the many obstacles that will arise when you're striving to do your best.
across hear name york
I don't even think about getting traded. I always hear my name being mentioned, but the New York is still across my chest.
