focus game help shots team
I think you just have to get used to it. You try to get as many shots in warm-ups and shoot-around the day before. When the game starts, you don't really think about the background. You focus on the basket, what you need to do to help your team win.
bench definitely five games good helped start tough win
I definitely think we'd probably be back in class. It would be tough to play without good bench players, and they're not just bench players. They're really good. I mean, they could start and they've really helped us out. You can't win many games with five guys.
focused games player prepares shows tremendous work
He's really focused and really intense. He prepares for games really well. He has a tremendous work ethic. He does his homework, so as a player that shows you that you need to work on your game to improve.
beginning games last room six team
I think we are a lot better team now than we were at the beginning of the year. I think we still have room to improve, but I think these last six games are going to be big for us. It's going to be interesting to see how we do.
exciting game meet shooting translated
It was very exciting for me to meet Peyton. I don't know how much that translated into the game today, but I was shooting it well.
burned carolina coach game line next practice south stressed
South Carolina really burned us from the three-point line. We went into practice the next day and coach really stressed the three-point line and what a game changer it can be.
ball carrying games handle past pickup playing quite starting stuff worked
He's playing better and better. He's doing a lot of things that he has done in the past in pickup games and stuff like that. In the summer, we got to see him handle the ball quite a bit. It's really carrying over. A lot of the stuff he's worked on all year, we're starting to see in games.
bad beat game george goals good knew mason national win
I don't feel like we were the bad guys. We knew George Mason was a good team. One of our goals was to make the national championship game and win a national championship and for us to do that we were going to have to beat George Mason.
coach early game good keeps leave meal prepared rein road tight tournament trips watch year
Road trips are pretty much the same. Coach keeps a tight rein on us. We never leave the hotel. Every game this whole year we've prepared for the same way as we have these tournament games. We watch film on every team, watch film at every meal and have a shoot-around. Coach does a good job. That's probably why he does it early on.
burned carolina court next running south stressed
South Carolina really burned us. It was stressed the next day in practice. We wanted to get them running up and down the court and not get into their offense.
anxious good plays team
I am anxious to see how this team plays in the conference. That is when you really find out how good you are.
coach energy good keeping sure
I think it's good that coach is keeping us focused, making sure we're not doing anything that we shouldn't be doing to take any energy away from us.
fed lifted team
I think it kind of lifted our team up and we fed off his energy.
crowd feed
It's still not 100 percent, but I think I feed off the crowd and the adrenaline.
