I would never take it back. I'm glad I made that decision. It helped me grow as a person and playing in that basketball league helped me get much stronger and more confident in my game.

At first I was very upset, but once I saw the path we were on as a team, it would've been very selfish for me to only think of myself.

I was so focused on listening to coach that I didn't even think to put my jersey on.

It's hard to get up every day and practice hard knowing you might end up 5-23. But the guys that we had and the coaches never quit on us. Everybody just showed us love and kept pushing every day. That's what it took.

We've played in tough games ourselves and tough atmospheres. You've got to give credit to those (Vermont) guys and you've got to respect them, but at the same time, we're all basketball players and we've all been in hostile environments.

This time we did a better job of clamping down.

We know we've got what it takes. It's not even a question. It's just a question of how much we want it. We've got to come out and play as hard as we can, and everybody has to be on the same page.

There are times I'll come back to the bench and my bag is all ripped open with one piece of candy left, so the other guys get their fair share.
