knew knock people playing role start tonight tough
They're playing that role of the spoiler. They want to get in there and knock people off. From the start tonight we knew it was going to be a tough game. In the first half, they made it really tough.
cracked days few half healed incapable next obviously played possible running second situations spot swelling wait worst
Obviously it won't be healed before the end of the finals, but it's one of those situations where the swelling, if it can go down, and it's not in the worst possible spot ... Obviously it cracked in the first half (Saturday) and I played the second half, so it wasn't like I was incapable to run, ... Obviously there's swelling and there's some stiffness in there, so right now running I wouldn't be able to do. But you never know over the next few days how things work. We'll just wait and see what happens.
pace walk
I could go out there and walk around, but I wouldn't be able to play at the pace we want to play.
conscious exactly game horrible played ran rest second swollen
I ran the rest of the game, ... It's just a little swollen and a little stiff. It's not painful. It's not horrible pain. Obviously, I played with it in the second half. I was conscious of it, so I could feel something wasn't exactly right. I just played through it. After the game there was some swelling, and then (Sunday and Monday) there was a little more swelling.
instinct understanding
It's just a lot of instinct and it's a lot of understanding of what's there and what's not there,
four playing rhythm trying
I'm trying to get used to playing with it. And not playing four days, I kind of got out of rhythm a little bit.
next today wait whether
I feel good, ... We'll just wait and see what it's like (today). I can't really say today whether I'll play tomorrow, the next day or even next Sunday.
create felt middle stay track
It felt like a track meet. I was getting a little winded out there. I just wanted to stay aggressive, stay in the middle and create things that way.
expected last next playoffs year
Last year we were 18-16, and the playoffs start, and the next thing you know, we're in the finals. Pretty cool. This year, we expected to win.
stop until
It's not going to get any better until I stop playing,
beat excuses full health missed pin series team time
I missed (Game 2) and probably didn't play at full health at any time in the series. But at the same time, not to take anything away from them, they beat us. I don't like to make a whole lot of excuses for the team or for myself. I'm not going to pin the whole series on my leg.
doubt felt game happen knew mind second sitting sudden work
Sitting here at halftime, there was no doubt in my mind that we were going to go back (home) to a Game 5. I knew we had some work to do in the second half, but I felt really confident. All of a sudden we were down, and then it was like, 'What happened?' It just didn't happen for us.
goes good hopeful kinds optimistic reacting
You know, each day goes by, and you get a little more optimistic and a little more hopeful because you just see how it's reacting to everything, ... It's just day-to-day kinds of things. So I feel good about it.
gotten hard pride run takes team three
You just run up and down the court, play really hard and be unselfish. Those are the three things that our team takes a lot of pride in. They've gotten us to the finals.
