It's Sept. 8, ... I keep saying that, but it's weird to be able to start this early. But I am tremendously excited about it. To come in and be able to start drill work, to integrate the pace of practice, style of play, to put our emphasis in earlier, I think is a tremendous advantage. The most important thing is we can be together earlier, (and develop) the team bonding and chemistry.

I think right now (it's) mentally draining. You cut into things and turn the ball over in the first half and have to regain some confidence and a mental edge. ... I think our physical conditioning is fine. Right now, our mental conditioning needs to improve.
We didn't come away with a 'W' but we made some strides. It was encouraging.
