This is a draft plan that provides a roadmap for all interested parties to develop a final plan that enables Florida's citrus industry to continue. All of these factions were represented at the table when the draft plan was devised, but I am sure we will hear different thoughts from various growers, nurserymen, regulators and scientists.

Every law is contingent on funding for enforcement. The federal government has indicated it would not pay for removal of trees. If we don't have the money, we can't remove the trees.
