awkward bit days definitely eat felt few five four hit last routine week
I didn't eat for about four or five days. So it hit me pretty bad. I felt a little bit awkward the last few days just training, getting back into the routine of things again. I'm definitely a lot better than a week ago.
bit felt level matter mentally stay step tough trying
I felt a step slow, a little bit sluggish, ... It was just a matter of trying to stay tough mentally and put myself on level terms.
bit circuit cup finals indoor masters matches maybe physically played quite run
Especially big ties. When we've played the finals before, quite often I'd played the Masters Cup and the whole indoor circuit and a lot of matches and maybe I was physically run down a little bit going in,
apart bit break early extremely good holding life point rhythm second serve serving tougher
The way he was serving at that time, he was serving extremely well, ... Apart from an early break point in the second set, he was holding serve pretty comfortably there. He had good rhythm on his serve, and, you know, it would have made life a bit tougher (had Rusedski not made the errors).
bit few hurt moment
At the moment it's a bit disappointing. It'll probably hurt for a few days, I'd say.
balls bit came chop hard heavy open played quite reason rough simple till
I've never played with balls that are getting that big. It's as simple as that. I thought the balls in Rotterdam were quite heavy till I came here. You know, the court's definitely, you know, it's a little bit rough out there. That's always going to chop the balls up a little bit more than a smoother court, such as a US Open hard court. But, you know, there's no reason why the ball should get, you know, that heavy.
bit learning nervous sort
I think she's pretty calm. She's sort of learning the ropes a little bit. She's probably a little bit nervous out there for me.
aussie behind bit bounce change crowd good head hopefully next rankings sort tennis work
Hopefully if he can work and put his head down, if he can sort of bounce back and get the crowd behind him and play some good tennis at the Aussie Open, that could set up a bit of a change in the rankings next year.
aggressive best bit came negative played sort tougher
Sometimes when I was aggressive and came to the net, he actually played some of his better tennis. That sort of made it a little bit tougher out there because then I get a little bit negative and defensive. That's not the best way for me to play.
balls everywhere flying focusing matter papers win
It's a matter of focusing on what you have to do. There's balls going everywhere and papers were flying round. The person who is able to keep his focus will win the match.
lining ready return serve sure walked
It was weird. He was lining up ready to serve and I was ready to return then he walked off to the chair. I wasn't sure what was going on.
cheap four improved points reason
He doesn't give you cheap points the way he did four years ago and that's the reason why he's improved so much and he's the standout No.1 at the moment,
enjoyed extremely masters playing tennis
I am extremely disappointed as I have always enjoyed playing the Tennis Masters Cup.
players tough worrying
It's tough for players to know what to take. It's worrying a lot of us.
