I knew I was in for a tough match even though grass isn't his surface and I am just delighted to win,
atmosphere attitude court game suits surface tournament
I always feel pretty comfortable when I get to Flushing Meadows. I really like the atmosphere and the court surface there. I think the whole tournament really suits my game and my attitude as well.

This is a tough surface on your body and we're not big servers so there's not a lot of cheap points.

There's no doubt in my mind that it's not the greatest surface for injuries either. I think it causes a lot of friction on your body.

It's a matter of focusing on what you have to do. There's balls going everywhere and papers were flying round. The person who is able to keep his focus will win the match.
