I picked up a tougher schedule this year, giving up some surefire wins with five new games. West Haven was one of the new ones, so we had never played them before.

They really play as a tight unit. They play together well and feed off of each other.

It's extremely frustrating. We're two very equally-matched teams and the girls played a good game, they just couldn't give me anything more at the end.

We came out flat in the first half. We couldn't connect a pass or dig up a ground ball. But to give them credit, they were all over us.

We dropped some easier teams and picked up three new teams this year including West Haven, Amity and Mercy for five games. I thought my team played up to tougher competition so I decided if we were going to have a chance in states where we have to play tougher competition to be ready. It's definitely a tough schedule but I hope we can rise to it.
