artist want contemporary
I want to be a contemporary artist and at the same time a romantic!
art thinking interesting
Fortunately I don't want to be part of the mainstream. When I see a Kiki Smith work, for example, she's very contemporary, and I feel a lot of emotion in each of her pieces; I think she understands our time, and she makes really interesting art because of that.
art new-york museums
To have a museum like the Museum of Modern Art in New York is to have power. I don't have any interest in being the director of an institution that has power.
fun artist important
I'd prefer to invite the artists simply to work and have fun with Guatemalan artists. To share missions of life. Maybe that is more important than seeing an exhibition.
art book order
When you're somebody who has the pretension to make art, it's completely different from when someone else says I want to make a book of your art. You don't decide the title, you don't decide the size, the order of the photographs . . . so it's completely out of control!
art awe club counts double everybody exclusive former home league list major names nowadays respect
I'm still in awe about it. I look at the list and see the names on it. I have all the respect in the world for all the former major league players. Nowadays I think the art of the double is kind of gone, because everybody counts on the home run. But for me it's an exclusive club I can be a part of.
huge ken played team wore
I was an outfielder, and I was a huge Ken Griffey Jr. fan. In Little League, the team I played for was the Mariners, and I wore No. 24.
logic trying
I'm still trying to find some logic to it all.
diego dodgers easily good months run san series start taken
This was a good series for us, ... We could have very easily taken all four. We have two months to go. We know where San Diego is, we know where the Dodgers are. We haven't had a good run yet, this was a good start for us.
downs fortunate game guys opportunity players playoffs reached realize since team ups veteran
I think since we are a veteran team we realize that so many players play this game and go through so many ups and downs that a lot of the guys don't ever get the opportunity to play in the playoffs or a World Series. So I feel very fortunate to have reached this accomplishment.
democratic hardest passed people process test
The democratic process has passed the hardest test of all. The people of Paraguay have triumphed!
couple hits last needed
We're getting big hits when we needed them the last couple of days,
balance effective hitters
He was just effective enough to keep our hitters off balance all night.
behind plays score win zero
We all didn't play well today. We didn't make plays behind him when we had to and we didn't get hits. We didn't score runs. You can't win with zero runs.
