Coach Grieves is a man who cares about the team and the program. He's going to do whatever's in his power to get us back in the gym. I feel like we had a little more time to work on our game, get in condition, stay focused on basketball and not think about the hurricane.

We didn't know if she had died or was still alive and had been transferred to the Superdome. We didn't even get to see her body. It was a closed casket. That was pretty hard on me. I really looked up to her.
