Their scoreboard, if you look up at the one on the side, it's not your typical college scoreboard; it's just two numbers. I went to bed (Friday) night, and all I could think of seeing we're down 30 and it's not a fun score to look at it.

I have a desire to be a coach some day, and coach Fennelly knows that. During the games, I call the plays (on the court), so there was no need to change that.

I wish I could pinpoint that (the reason) because that's the one thing I highlighted to the team; we need to get off on a good start. I don't know if there needs to be a greater focus at the beginning of games; I don't know.

The injury setbacks have been tough. It's probably the most frustrating thing I've ever gone through.

Our game plan was working to a tee; you let Paris score as many points as she wants and you don't let them get off any 3-point shots and then Higgins hits a deep one. They're No. 8 in the country for a reason, and teams like that hit shots like that.

It's just a by-product of good teammates and the coaches put me in good situations. That's really what it is; I really don't think I did anything special.

I don't want to be known as a good player who played on good teams. I want to be known as a good player who was part of great teams that played in the postseason.

Offensively, we've got to do a better job of getting better shots. It's not good when we're at the end of the (shot) clock every other possession shooting 27-foot 3-pointers. And that's a lot of me getting us in a better offensive flow.

Everything we do we're going to try to do it together. We obviously don't have any All-Americans on this team, so everything we do is going to have to be done by a group.

He's given me that freedom since I was a freshman to make those calls. We have a lot of trust in each other. It's neat we're on the same page like that.
credit goes great guards honor point teammates
It's an honor because there's been great point guards here in the past. A lot of the credit goes to my teammates because you get assists when they make shots.

There were times we tried to make a run. But we didn't have the kind of enthusiasm and effort we needed.
