Emmanuel Legaceis a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender, who played most notably in the National Hockey League for the Detroit Red Wings. Legace also enjoyed spells with the St. Louis Blues, Los Angeles Kings and the Carolina Hurricanes. He finished his playing career for the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League, for whom he is the career leader in goaltending wins...

It was huge. Especially with the guys coming back from the Olympics, and the effort they put in Anaheim, the way Ozzie (Chris Osgood's shutout) stood on his head, the effort everyone put in. It's just good teammates and everyone working hard and putting their hard hats on.

It was stupid. I lied to the coaching staff and everybody else just to play. I should have just tried to wait. It was selfish and it probably hurt the team a little bit.

I just had to stand there, basically. I made a couple of tough saves when it was 3-0 and 4-0. I really didn't have to do much.

They were buzzing tonight in front of the home crowd. It was electric tonight, which is great to see here down South. The Nashville fans love their hockey. I love the atmosphere here.

This is the first time I remember winning, even going back to when I was a kid. It's really weird. The guys gave me a good present with a couple of goals in the third period.

I was probably around 50 (percent) when I came back (the first time). I just wanted to play. Things were going well. We were on a roll and I just wanted to get back in there. I couldn't afford to take time off.
