They switched-up their defense in the third, our offense is different when Josh (Smith) is denied the ball. We need to battle basket for basket with a team as talented as Thornton.

He's been our rebounding leader and a presence inside all year. In the first half, we had to sit him with foul trouble. And then he got poked in the eye in the second half and spent a little more time on the bench. Because of this we really didn't have an inside presence, especially in the second half. That is when the game began to slip away.

It's a chance to get another win. It's nice to get a game that's winnable, and who knows when the last time was that T.F. South had a postseason win. It's definitely been a while.
hard kids practice running scout situations waste
They're just as important as your first guys. When you're running through different situations in practice with (the subs being) the scout team, if you can't get those kids to go hard and you can't get a look at what you want, it's pretty much a waste of time.
