I didn't think it was going to be easy, even when we got up seven points with five or six minutes left. We just needed to stick with our offense and play solid defense.

As a freshman you go in there and you step into deep water. Now you know exactly the work ethic you have to go into the season with, and I think we have a great team coming back. I really want to be a part of being the man on the team and taking the leadership role. That will help me grow. This team will have the potential to do a lot of big things.

I was tired with 3 minutes left. That's about as tough as it gets. That was a physical game. I made those free throws because there were a couple of timeouts there that made it easier. I'm tired.
