To play a first half like we played tonight shows a lack of pride. I feel strongly about the tradition we have here at Toledo, and we're letting that tradition down big time.

I loved our first half enthusiasm and intensity; it was played better than most games we've played, especially the last three games. There are a lot of positives we just need to be able to sustain our offense for a whole game.

And that's for a team that has had trouble generating a lot of points. Crystal has had a very solid senior year. I think she ranks with all of the top point guards in the league.

We started out in a man-to-man and they were putting it to us. I thought we'd go to zone and see if we could maybe take them out of their perimeter game. I'm not sure if we accomplished that but our defense won it for us. We knew we had to get out on their three-point shooters and we did a good job with that.
