We're down in numbers at receiver and we have so many new guys coming in, that's where we'll have to find out a lot more during the summer and two-a-day camp.

We're catching them as a very confident team.
people
You always think you're going to have a chance. That's the way competitive people are. You get up for a challenge.
goal line phases three win
Our goal was to win the line of scrimmage in all three phases of the game, and I think we did that.

enthusiasm great guys looking needed passion teachers three
We were looking for great teachers - teachers with great enthusiasm who have a passion to coach. Then, we needed some wisdom, as well. I think we got all of those things with the combination of the three guys we hired.
bring carry coaches core five guys manage players spring
We will have coaches come and go. The better coaches we bring in, the more guys will end up leaving. But if we can keep the core and manage the system, I think the players can get better each spring and carry it over to the fall, and they can do it for all five years they are here.
bottom climb fought injury keeps occurs overcame ryan starter top
The real story on Ryan is how he has overcame his setbacks. Because when you climb to the top - become a starter - and an injury occurs that keeps you out for a long time, you have to start back at the bottom rung. Ryan fought his way back up.

We took him out of high school hoping he'd develop into a player in two or three years. But within the first year he started to make an impact and, in 2003, he became a starter on special teams and made some big plays.
changed course game pleased
I was pleased with the game. Initially, we were going to let the quarterbacks go live and see what they could do. Had we done that, I think it would have changed the course of the game.
