In spring training, it was one of my goals to get fifty homers. Now everything is basically icing on the cake as far as what I can do to strive for, I surprise myself. It's unbelieveable.
I remember trying steroids very briefly in the 1989 -1990 off season, and then after I was injured in 1993, I used steroids again.
I'm ecstatic they even thought about me taking the number down and being here for the weekend, ... It's going to be outstanding. How can it not be with all of the history here and how the fans are going to be treated to a fantastic new stadium next year?
